I love using Pomodoro sessions, I just didn't have a name for it before today. It is my number one tip when one of my friends mentions they are having trouble focusing at work. That 25 minute timer just makes everything seem more manageable.

Pomodoro’s single-handedly saved my PhD, Ken. I love them and this is actually a great reminder for me to integrate them more often into my work days! It’s so easy to forget how quickly you can change your productivity in just 25 minutes.

Wow! This is amazing work and a wonderful message, Danny. I almost had to start taking notes because there were so many things I wanted to comment on. I mean, you had me at Super Troopers! I recently experienced this truth of More vs Matters when reflecting on my work for the first quarter of this year. It is absolutely the reason for any successes I've had so far. You have so many truths tied in to this post. I think you should take it down, add a few worksheets and make it an e-course folks can buy. Your generation really needs to learn these lessons and you could easily break this post down into a whole series on the More vs. Matters idea. I have read and followed many of the experts you mention and have even written about a few on my site. Once one qualifies the goals they want to set, design the projects to reach those goals, and then figure out the tasks that will turn those projects in to successful realities, the only thing left to do is figure out time allotments. This system is something I learned from a course I took from Sarra Cannon. Gretchen Rubin has stated, "That which can be done at anytime, is often done at no time." I have seen this truth play out numerous times and now I tackle it by assigning times for all the tasks that are needed to complete a project. Back to you. Sorry, I get lost in this stuff! I just wanted you to know that you are doing a great job with this topic. It's a niche that definitely needs to be presented to your demographic to help them with their success, and I think you are the guy to do it. Keep prioritizing. Keep writing. I'm looking forward to watching you rise❣️

This is such a kind and thoughtful note <3 Thank you. I am thrilled that many of years of banging my head against the productivity wall means that something useful may have come out of it. Thank you so, so much for taking the time and for the phenomenal idea of the course! That is a very exciting idea indeed and when I do, I will be sure to circle back.

Solid insights Danny. The "real productivity checklist" is something i will consider more when planning my day. I also really like the principle of balancing inputs vs. outputs. It's easy to get into productivty for productivity's sake and miss the point of setting up all these systems.
